STUDY TWO
TOPIC: CONDITIONS NECESSARY
FOR BEARING FRUIT
PASSAGE: John 15:1-27
MEMORY VERSE: I Peter 2:2
INTRODUCTION
We all know that for one to grow and to stay healthy,
one needs food (balanced diet), water exercise, etc.
Similarly, for one to grow spiritually, one needs spiritual
food. Without food a person will grow weak and may eventually
become ill and die. Lack of spiritual food also produces
the same results in the spiritual life. Note also that
the plant that bears fruit is well in the soil, well
nourished and also receives pruning, fertilizing, etc.
This lesson should be able to help you appreciate that
God will take us through diverse experiences in life
all aimed at helping us to resemble Christ or bear fruit.
