STUDY FIVE
TOPIC: THE
HOLY SPIRIT AND FRUIT BEARING
PASSAGE: Galatians 5:19-26
MEMORY VERSE: Gal. 5:16
INTRODUCTION
Someone has said that every Christian has the Holy Spirit
but the Holy Spirit does not have every Christian. However,
we cannot bear fruit if we neglect Him. We will realize
from this lesson that we can bear fruit worthy of our
calling if only we obey the Holy Spirit. We need to
crucify our old nature by refusing to yield to the desires
of the flesh. It is the Holy Spirit who will strengthen
us to do so. We must therefore yield to His promptings
daily.
