PASSAGE: Matthew 13:1-23

INTRODUCTION
The greatest expectation of every farmer is that his/her sowed seeds will germinate, grow and eventually bear desirable fruit. Failure to realise this expectation will be considered a great disappointment and waste of resources. Every farmer therefore adopts all possible means to ensure his/her crops bear or yield fruit so that his/her joy may be full.

QUESTIONS
1. How many types of soil are mentioned in the parable? Vrs 4-7

2. Describe the nature of the soils

3. What can the soil be related to as Christian? Matt.13:18

4. Discuss the possible factors that might have prevented the seed to grow, let alone bear fruit under each type of soil.
